May Assembly: Towards Dual Power

With regular spokescouncil meetings at the start of each month and our city-wide assemblies at the end, Portland Assembly moves deeper into the politics of neighborhood organizing and our municipal libertarian critique of power. Come learn about upcoming actions and help us plan for summer.

Join us May 21st for another Assembly where you can join a neighborhood action council, get debriefed from the spokescouncil, learn critical information from the frontline community council and/or join the infrastructure committes!

Much like our last assembly with the Inclusivity Practice training (Thanks so much Vo!!), the education committee and frontline council hope to regularly use the Assembly as an opportunity to grow a common language and our historical knowledge. More information on the training to be posted.

Additionally, the asset-based breakout group is a great place to help the infrastructure team grow or sustain the projects it takes to make Portland Assembly possible. To learn more about joining the infrastructure, email us at [email protected]l.com

Please bring food or drink donations if you can!
